There is no public transport to the hamlets between Arundel and Amberley, so you would need to persuade a taxi to venture down one of the narrow country lanes if you wanted to abandon the walk and were too far away from one of the stations. Walk towards the end of Tarrant Street and, as it turns to the right, take the left signed footpath and drive to The Slipe. You can get a direct train from London Victoria in about 1h 20min.
